One of the most prestigious zip codes in New Jersey, Franklin Lakes boasts low property taxes, highly rated public schools, incredible landscapes, and an hour ride to Manhattan.

In addition, this beautiful community with a population of about 11,000 residents, offers several shops, restaurants, grocery stores conveniently located in the town’s two shopping centers.

Homes tend to be in the higher end spectrum; however, taxes are kept low due to large corporations with operations in town.

The easiest way to commute to the city is by taking buses that take you directly to Port Authority, or taking a short drive to the nearby train stations in Ramsey and Fair Lawn since Franklin Lakes does not have one of their own.

Albeit its bucolic setting, Franklin Lakes offers several private clubs, from golfing to horseback riding, as well as several Parks, including the Franklin Lakes Nature Preserve, with hiking trails and a lake.
